Frequently Asked Questions
What is Artha Auto-Plan?
Artha Auto-Plan is a free financial planning tool by Meta Investment. Answer a few questions about your income, goals, and investments, and receive a personalised plan — covering SIPs, insurance, and emergency fund — instantly.
How do I start a SIP through Meta Investment?
Book a free consultation or try Artha Auto-Plan to get your personalised plan. Once your goals are clear, we handle KYC, fund selection, and SIP setup entirely online.
Is Meta Investment SEBI registered and AMFI certified?
Yes. Meta Investment is an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor and Tushar Paturde holds the CFP® certification. We operate in full compliance with SEBI and AMFI regulations.
What is the minimum amount to start a SIP with Meta Investment?
There's no fixed minimum set by Meta Investment — it depends on the mutual fund scheme you choose, typically starting from ₹500 per month for most schemes (some go as low as ₹100). Try Artha Auto-Plan or book a free consultation and we'll recommend schemes that match your goal and budget.
Is Meta Investment a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser or a Mutual Fund Distributor?
Meta Investment is an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-129322) and not a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser (RIA). As a distributor, we are compensated by commission (see our Commission Disclosure) and our recommendations are incidental to distribution, not standalone investment advice.
What is SIF and how is it different from a mutual fund or PMS?
A Specialized Investment Fund (SIF) is a SEBI-regulated category that sits between mutual funds and PMS, offering long-short and other advanced strategies with a ₹10 lakh minimum investment — much lower than PMS (₹50 lakh) or AIF (₹1 crore) — while following mutual-fund-like taxation and disclosure norms.
Can I meet Tushar Paturde in person in Pune?
Yes. Meta Investment has a registered office in Rahatani, Pimple Saudagar and a branch office in Sambhajinagar, Pune, open Mon-Fri 8:30am-9:00pm and Sat-Sun 3:30pm-9:00pm. Book an appointment online or call/WhatsApp us to schedule an in-person meeting.
How is Meta Investment compensated — fees or commission?
Meta Investment is compensated through trail commission paid by the AMC as part of scheme expenses — not a fee charged to you directly. Commission rates vary by scheme and AMC, and direct plans pay no distributor commission. Full scheme-wise rates are published on our Commission Disclosure page.
What documents are needed for e-KYC to start investing?
You'll typically need your PAN card, an address proof, and an identity proof document. If you're already KYC-compliant with any SEBI-registered intermediary, that KYC is valid across all mutual funds and you can start investing without repeating the process.
