About This Issue
Instrument: Market-Linked, Secured, Non-Principal Protected, Unrated, Unlisted, Redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures.
Underlying: Linked to HDFC Bank stock price. Non-Capital Protected and Secured, Non-listed.
Return: The return on the MLD will be based on the performance of HDFC Bank stock at the end of 30 months.
Mode of Holding: Compulsory in demat form. Debentures will be credited to the investor's Demat A/c within 20 working days.
Maturity Proceeds: Credited to the investor's bank account linked to the demat account.
Return Profile
Ø If HDFC Bank stock gives any return in the range of 0% - 60% after 30 months, then MLD will provide 1.6 times that return (e.g., if HDFC return is 20%, then MLD return will be 20*1.6 = 32%).
Ø If HDFC Bank stock gives a return of more than 60% after 30 months, then the MLD return is fixed at 96% (30.04% annualised). This is the maximum return.
Ø Capital is not protected: If HDFC Bank gives any negative return after 30 months, then MLD will also give exactly the same negative return.
