Can I withdraw my Fixed Deposit prematurely?
Yes, the premature withdrawal rules are: 0–3 months: Lock-in, withdrawal not possible. 3–6 months: Only principal is returned, no interest paid. 6 months onwards: Interest is paid, but 2% lower than the applicable rate for the held tenure. If no contracted rate exists for the tenure, interest is 3% lower than the minimum Bajaj FD rate.
