Treasury securities (T-Bill) are issued by the RBI on behalf of Indian government and are backed by the full faith and credit of the government. Treasury securities offer a fixed interest rate and are considered low risk.

Senior Citizen Savings Scheme (SCSS)

SCSS is a government-backed scheme. Hence, the invested amount is secure and there is guarantee of returns upon its maturity. This is scheme is primarily available to Individuals above 60 years.
