Paisa Lingo ("the App") is a free financial literacy game developed by Meta Investment (Tushar Paturde, AMFI-registered MFD & CFP), Kokane Chowk, Rahatani, Pune 411017, India. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the App (web or Android), how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

• Player handle – a nickname you choose at first launch (e.g. "CryptoKing99"). Not your real name.
• Game progress – score, level, and the list of financial terms you have collected.
• Language preference – English, Hindi, or Marathi.
• Email address – only if you voluntarily enter it in the app. Used solely to contact you about your investment queries.
• Device identifier (UID) – a random ID generated on your device and stored in local storage. Used to sync your progress across sessions. Never tied to your real identity.
• Usage events – anonymised gameplay events (e.g. "quiz_answer", "level_up") to help us improve the game.
• Standard web/app logs – IP address, browser/OS type, and page visits, collected automatically by our hosting and analytics providers.

We do not collect payments, financial account details, government IDs, or precise location.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Display your score on the in-game leaderboard (handle + score only — no personal details).
• Save and restore your game progress when you return.
• Respond to investment queries if you provide your email.
• Improve game balance and content using aggregated, anonymised analytics.
• Monitor app stability and fix bugs.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

• Google Analytics 4 – collects anonymised usage statistics. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• GoatCounter – lightweight, privacy-respecting page-view analytics. No cookies. See GoatCounter's policy.
• WhatsApp – if you tap a "Talk to an advisor" button, you are redirected to WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. We do not receive or store WhatsApp data.

4. Data Storage & Security

Game progress is stored in a database on a server hosted in India. Your handle and score are stored server-side; your device UID is stored in your browser's local storage and is never shared publicly.

We retain your game data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your data, contact us at the address below and we will remove it within 30 days.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Your Rights

You may at any time:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about your handle/UID.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for email communications.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. The "Effective" date at the top will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
